Went to the CupCake Crew tasting today, so sensible eating out the window....LOL! Went and saw Courtney at work at Arby's. thank goodness the week is coming or I'd be a blimp! Oakland Band camp picnic, movie munchies, and Chuy's...YIKES!

OK 192.8 WHAT gained 2 oz. BLAH!
Today I'm a bit on the achy whining side. NO GYM! I'm going to swim today. I did a short dog walk. Just got a late start and it is too hot! Especially for Cookie the fur ball. Might do another walk if it cools off a bit this evening. Lapse in the pool is the order for the day!

3. for finding the perfect dress for the party that didn't break the bank! In my favorite colors to boot! I look good in it!

Not going near the scale I fell of the wagon in a BIG way this weekend. I enjoyed every minute of it! FAMOUS DAVE'S !!! the movies are right with out a few treats....Enough said...LOL! I'll be good all week..... :)

1. Washing machines, dish washers, car washes... anything that makes me not be the one scrubbing something! imagine how much time and energy, effort that would take! thank you! for my modern life!
2. Quality time with my husband this weekend! We had a good time.

WOW! the year is more than half over only 164 days left! I'm doing OK on the 17 day diet except for that Zumba zombie I had last night at the Zumba in de club event...Oops! I didn't drink it all. Oh and eating all the vegetables..... not a big fan of vegetables. I did so well when i first started "eating sensibly" aka diet for freaking LIFE. BLAH! OK I suck at the 17 day diet.....BUT I'm trying!

192.6 YIPPEE! I worked my butt off for this! Zumba, Diva Dance, swimming and walking 2 miles with the dogs. it would be so completely AWESOME if before August I could get to 189 out of the 190's. A goal to shoot for!!!

Day 197
I'm having a really hard time staying motivated. I need to go dig up old pictures of me SKINNY. i ate what ever I pleased this weekend. STUPID after fighting so hard to get to 193. I'm still 23 pounds off my lowest weight in the 2000's. I'm 43 off being in my normal weight range and 59 off my goal weight. I do realize going from 238 to 193 is good 45 pound GONE! the weight isn't coming off like it did. i added more exercise BUT I'm cheating more. I don't think Junior mints and long John silvers are in any of the sensible eating guides. Tomorrow the 17 Day diet starts again! Today is sensible. have to eat that pork tenderloin I thawed!

193.0 lost 6 ounces.... well 6 ounce is better than a gain!

1. My furry little friends. My doggies make me walk! Good doggies!
2. Coffee with fat free half & half and cinnamon. Gets me going!
3. Ibuprofen & heating pads. They make a headache almost bearable or make go away....
I got up late.... Well actually woke up to Cookie barfing on my bed..... Wiped it up and pasted back out till 7AM... got to change those sheets....

I seriously want to do ZERO of these things.... i did walk the dogs. it was HOT!
i will in-list some teenage girls to do their own bathroom. the only work out I may get is swimming in the pool, but that is OK an hour just goofing off paddling around in the pool is over 500 calories burned with lapse even more.
if I make 50 rose centers that should be good and 150 leaves. Scared about shipping them! I'm insuring them all those hours are worth something! heck $3 a rose!

1. my sense of humor! Ever glad I can laugh at myself and others. It makes life more fun!
2. coupons! It makes me feel frugal to get $5 to $10 off my grocery bill... call me cheap! LOL!
3. having good kids. I really don't worry about them doing something wrong. They both have excellent heads on their shoulders. WEll, for the most part ever kid does something stupid once in a while that is what being a kid is all about.

Day 189 Sunday!
My period started. I'm puffy. My back hurts! I feel HEAVY like gravity increased over night.... I feel dazed and confused....foggy... maybe coffee will help. No garbage foods today. I was bad at the movies.... I've noticed lately I have little will power. Sabotaging myself....

I'm starting to get compliments around the gym for my weight loss. That is a great motivator, and self esteem builder. 44.4 pounds DOWN! come on 45 down!
I woke up screaming at 2AM awful dream not really sure what it was about even. I have had crap for sleep since, I finally dosed in a chair at 5:30 till 7.... finding it a bit hard to be thankful about anything.....GROWL! I hate not sleeping.

1. Living in a safe neighborhood where I can walk my dogs alone, and still feel very safe.
2. Courtney, that she is excited about college! looks like a bright future!
3. Learning to read. i get so much enjoyment out of reading. I feel bad for people that can't do it.

193.6 WOO HOO! I lost a pound and 2 ounces! FINALLY! Much harder to take the pounds off now. I am building muscle that weighs more. i am losing inches. I measured yesterday. My waist was 35.5 inches almost in the healthy range!

1. The gorgeous view out my back windows! Yesterday over the field was a rainbow.

I weighed 194.8. This morning can't seem to get below this number! To be fair after I weighed that for one brief and shining day the scale went up again and down and up and down... you get the idea. i was REALLY hoping it would go DOWN. Yesterday I walked the dogs. I went to Body pump, Diva dance and Zumba at the MAC. I swam in the pool for at least an hour if not more. I did eat Buffalo style hot wings and a Frosty but my calories weren't over 1800. I burned way more than I ate. I have burned more all month. I am not sure what I can change other than being super strict on my diet again. Doing the 17 day diet just for a few days made me lose weight again. I just feel a little deprived on that diet since I already went through super strict healthy eating in the beginning. I guess if I am really serious I need to go back to being super healthy bye-bye wings and ice cream.
OK for my positive affirmations!
I AM THANKFUL FOR:
1. My spot lifter! Without it, I'd be scrubbing up dog puke with my bare hands this morning.
2. My Bunn coffee maker. With out it I'd be a much crabber person! Love my caffeine fix!
3. JoBeth's friendship. She just sent me a wonderful book in the mail. She shares her life with me, and I share mine with her through Email. I am so glad I joined that Secret Pal swap because I met her.
Time to walk the dogs!

Day 183 Happy 4th of July!
On my quest to being a happier, skinnier human!
I AM THANKFUL FOR:
1. My cat Werewolf, who loves me unconditionally. He is always happy to see me purrs his head off for me. Sweet cat! he always makes me smile.
2. I live in the USA where I have freedom. being a woman in other parts of the world this would not be so...
3. That most of the summer shows on TV are back with episodes or will be back soon! And some really good new ones are out!
Still on my plateau.... keep wavering between 194.8 and 196. At 195 right now. My own fault for eating junk Saturday and Sunday. used Saturday as my cheat day for the movies and Mexican food. I did really good all day yesterday till the evening then I dived into the ice cream.... I should not have it in the house. Oh well going to the MAC for the marathon of classes this morning. that should burn some calories!

Day 182 Picture Day Again!!!!
I've read a bunch of stuff lately on happiness and healthy people. People with positive attitudes are healthier, and live longer. Less heart attacks, strokes, cancers, mental illness.... Sounds good to me!
I'm not sure if I am a glass half full or a glass half empty kind of girl. Guess it really depends on my mood and situation I'm in at the time. I'm going to try to be more a glass half full. If you are a natural born pessimist experts say you can train yourself to be more positive. One way is to think of three things you are thankful for every morning. They can be little or big or mixture of the 2. So here goes!
I'm thankful for :
1. The gorgeous weather we have had lately!
2. The pool in my back yard!
3. Zumba, it has helped me feel better, and I have FUN exercising.

Day 175-180 July 1,2011
July 1st! Oops! forgot to post all week! Where did June go?
I'm on a Plateau! I'm hoping that I'll make that magical 193 SOON!!! I was hoping for 190 by the end of June but it wasn't meant to be :( Right now I'm a bit on the puffy side PMS at it's best :>P I am losing inches. My muscles, on my arms especially, are getting more definition. I'm back into size DDD 38 bras! I can wear my sports bras again! I still want to see the numbers go down on the scale.
I am SORE today. Andi is a sadist! ( trainer that teaches total body work out) I'm crazy! but I think I'm going to tighten up! Ibuprofen is my FRIEND!
Loving swimming! Love summer! The weight is going to come off!
