jim came out and captured it in the pool skimmer net. He put it over the farm fence so it could make it's way to the creek.

Uninvited Swimmer
I went out to take some pictures of the new pool all done and got side tracked by the uninvited swimmer. It was a 18 inch snapping turtle. I was afraid he'd claw the new liner trying to get out. plus I'm sure the poor thing wasn't liking the pool chemicals. Thank goodness we hadn't put the shock in yet!

that was a 'nice' surprise i imagine!
LOL - glad there was no harm to animal or property. Hope he wasn't checking the place out for a turtle pool party!
